If you have been on social media in the past 48 hours, you probably might have come across a viral video of a man who set himself a table in a tram/train in Germany and ate fufu with palm nut soup in the full glare of other passengers.

According to the man by name Don Carlos who has become the toast of social media currently, he ate in the tram because he was very hungry.

While there remains several divided opinions on his action, Don Carlos in an interview with Kofi Adoma Nwanwani has told Ghanaians who think that he has disgraced his country to cut their hypocrisy.

“Ask them why they don’t see white people who eat toasts and burgers in the train as a disgrace? Is it because I ate with my hand or because I ate in a train?” he said. “Tell them the hand was made before the spoon”.

Going on, Don Carlos said it was his first time eating such a meal in the tram.

Don Carlos lives in Germany with his six children of whom three are half-castes. According to him, he speaks fluent French, English and Spanish as well as a number of Ghanaian languages.
